Northern France, a region forever altered, and scarred by conflict, has over time healed and regenerated by embracing the wisdom gained by living with the past. “Unknown“ responds to this ever-present evidence. For the installation I have wrapped the courtyard of apple trees in bandages to call attention to the scars and wounds inflicted upon them by the un-natural manipulation and pruning conducted by humans.
