The likely unconscious decision of which side of the fence to pass on creates a separation from the “other”. Also the piece brings into question the roll of religion in separation. Is religion a divider or is it a useful tool for those who orchestrate such divisions?

Division asks the viewer to contemplate how their unconscious decisions with regard to religion may lead to a separation and isolation from others.
