Using the association of a quilt with home, comfort and security, the piece, Quilt, juxtaposes those emotions with a video of fear, agony and devastation endured by those effected by war. Quilt was constructed from tea-dyed muslin bandages sewn to mimic overlapping exterior house siding found in every American neighborhood.

Quilt was one part of a four-piece installation: Brick, Apron, Flag, Quilt at the Headlands Center for the Arts.
